Dextro Rotatory Helix – A Video of Ocular & Aural Bliss by Denial of Service

DOS titleIn my mind, the realm of true “art” always seemed to end in the early 20th century. After that, what many people refer to as “modern art,” I just don’t get.

After all, soup cans? Really?

Warhol.-Soup-Cans-469x292

“Campbell’s Soup Cans” by Andy Warhol, 1962.

That’s not art. It’s satire.

But then had the realization that in the 21st century, cutting edge artists will not be using paint, canvas and brushes. The Picassos of today will be utilizing “3DS Max with PFlow scripting for the sound-reactive 3D plexus.”

For me, a person who goes by the handle “denial of service” on Vimeo is one of those Picassos.

Full screen/HD with speakers turned up is highly recommended.

I can only hope someone will hire this creative genius to work on the next installment of Prometheus or maybe get a gig with Almost Human or Helix.
